In aceste vremuri avem nevoie de gandire clara, curata, logica, si crestineasca. Argumentele dv. despre santajul patriarhiei depaseste tot ce ne putem imagina despre o biserica si despre un ierarh. Unde este bunatatea si blandetea unui Nicodim sau chiar diplomatia unui Andrei Saguna? In conditiile de astazi nu avem alt drum decat sa continuam drumul trasat de IPS Valerian. Trecutul nostru este bine cunoscut, dar noi suntem o Biserica in evolutie, si viitorul ne duce spre o reala Biserica Ortodoxa Americana. Sa nu parasim viitorul pentru a ne afla in trecut. Ce aberatie!
In ceia ce priveste comisia de dialog a Episcopiei noastre, sa nu uitam ca membri ei sunt preoti care, sunt convins, vor binele Episcopiei. Educatia, experientele, cunostintele si chiar culturile lor explica, in mare parte, traseul pe care l’au luat si opiniile pe care le-au format. Pentru acest motiv este bine ca si comitetele Episcopiei noastre, acum formate pentru “due diligence”, sunt compuse din laici profesionisti (avocati si contabili) in domeniu de “mergers and aquisitions”, si ca propunerile eventuale privind “Unirea” trebuie aprobate de Consiliul Episcopesc, format din laici si cler, inainte chiar de a fi propus unui Congres Episcopesc, tot compus din laici si cler. In final, Adunarile Generale Parohiale trebuie sa decida soarta Episcopiei si destinele fiecarei Parohii/ Misiuni din ea. Ortodoxia in practica se adevereste. Speram…
